SERVICES TO ORGANISATIONS
Education , Public information, Awareness,
Lobbying & Campaigning
Video has been used as a
means of conveying
information for a number of years, in short–
Education .
Lecturers or speakers use this medium as a visual aid or tool to illustrate a
point to a given audience. In this case video is an obvious way of saving time and money.
PUBLIC INFORMATION
This is perhaps the strongest use of
both broadcast and non-broadcast mediums such as
video or radio. TV crops up in the
most varied of circumstances:
As part of roadshows, to inform
communities about new developments within certain areas, to explain citizens’ rights,
or as a tool to tackle issues of
a
social or moral manner. Many hospitals use TV as a tool for patient information programmes. Other
groups use our facilities to create programmes for use in conferences.
AWARENESS
Many Aid Agencies and Health Organisations use
video to create awareness on a national level allowing a better understanding of the issues they wish to
convey. A prime example of this is AWARE (Combat Depression)
who availed of our facilities to make a
television documentary dealing with
depression and suicide.
While the use of video in
commerce and industry for campaigns is standard, training and messages to shareholders is becoming an accepted means of communication. The ease of handling and distribution along with the immediacy of the desired image make it
particularly attractive as a tool for organisations with smaller budgets
